World Read Aloud Day - Wednesday, March 4th 2015 - is all to do with “celebrating the power of
words and creating a community of readers taking action to show the world that
the right to literacy belongs to all people”.
The Verbal Arts Centre's Reading Rooms are taking place today at Eason’s Belfast; Stroke Association at Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart; Extern at the Verbal Arts Centre; Edenballymore Lodge Nursing Home, Derry; and Hemsworth Court, Belfast HSCT.
The Reading Room at Eason’s, Donegall Place, Belfast, is a drop-in group open to all every Wednesday at 11am, so if you missed today’s session, do come along next Wednesday.
And if you’re in Derry, why not come along to the Reading Room at Eason’s in Foyleside Shopping Centre which takes place every Thursday evening at 7pm?
